Henry “Hank” Zinsmeister, age 88, a resident of Three Lakes, Wis., formerly of Brookfield, Wis., died Monday, Nov. 21, 2016, in Rhinelander, Wis.
He was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Milwaukee, Wis., to parents Henry and Mathilda Zinsmeister.
Hank owned and operated Hanks Refrigeration in Three Lakes from 1984-2002. Prior to that he worked in HVAC both in Milwaukee and Brookfield. He lived, ate and slept his trade.
Henry was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. Above all he enjoyed the time spent with his family.
He was a member of the American Legion in Three Lakes and the Steamfitters Local No. 601.
Henry was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley, in 2003; brother, Harold; and sister, Dorothy.
He is survived by his daughter, Kim (Steve Higgins) Zinsmeister of Three Lakes; grandchildren, Aaron (Tiffany Von Bober) Schuett, Alonna (Adam Boers) Herche, and Brandon Berg; two great- grandchildren; and numerous other family and friends.
A private service has already been held.
