Feb. 16, 1953 – June 26, 2016
Debra L. (Hunter) McMaster of Eagle River, Wis., born on Feb. 16, 1953, peacefully passed away from this world at Ministry Home Care in Woodruff, Wis., on June 26, 2016, after a short battle with a brain tumor.
Debbie (Star) was preceded in death by her father, Alvin Hunter; and sister, Shelly Hunter.
She is survived in life by her husband, David (Rocket) McMaster; daughter, Rhonda Howell; son, Shawn Gursky; stepsons, Bryan and Dennis McMaster; mother, Ember (Hunter) Smith; sisters, Lori (Bob) Tourangeau and Patty (Tim) Hogan; and brothers, Larry Hunter, Michael Hunter and Tracy (Lisa) Hunter; along with her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She enjoyed reading, creating beautiful art to her heart’s content, and caring for the beautiful flower garden that she and Dave created that included all things “fairy!” It was her passion and she was very talented.
There will be no formal funeral service held for Debbie. Instead, she preferred to be remembered in a small “Life Celebration” with her closest family.
Debbie was full of creativity, laughter and love and we will all miss her dearly.
A small family service will be held in Crystal Falls, Mich., Debbie’s hometown, in July 2016.
